We're looking for a Hospitality& Events Supervisor to join our team and help deliver outstanding hospitality experiences across a wide range of events, from sporting fixture sand school celebrations to conferences, summer programmes and commercial events.
What You Will Do
As Catering Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day running of the catering operation, ensuring excellent service standards, food quality, and compliance across all areas.
Key responsibilities include:

Supervising and supporting catering staff during daily service periods

Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards

Maintaining clean, safe, and organised catering areas at all times

Supporting stock management, ordering, stock rotation, and waste control

Monitoring food safety, allergen management, and hygiene compliance
-
Providing excellent customer service and resolving day-to-day service issues
-
Assisting with staff training, onboarding, and performance support
-
Opening and closing catering facilities where required

Working closely with the management team to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Supporting hospitality functions, events, and special occasions across the school
What You Bring
We're looking for a motivated and experienced catering professional who enjoys leading by example and creating a positive customer experience.
You will have:

Previous supervisory experience within catering, hospitality, or food service environments

Strong leadership and team management skills
-
Experience working in busy catering operations serving large numbers of customers
-
Good knowledge of food safety, food hygiene, and allergen legislation
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
A positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
-
The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities

Experience with stock control and food cost management
-
Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (essential)

NVQ Level 2 in Catering, Hospitality, or equivalent qualification (desirable)
