Keenan Seafood are the leading supplier of fresh and frozen seafood in Northern Ireland. We provide our customers with the highest standard of service and range of seafood products.
We are currently searching for Factory Operatives to work in our factory located on Kennedy Way, Belfast, from 4am to 12noon.
The factory operates Monday to Saturday and you must be able to work any 5 days in this period. A 6th day overtime rate may be available.
As a factory operative you’ll learn how to complete a number of different tasks relating to the preparation of fish, trimming and filleting, curing & smoking of fish, packing and assembling orders, pre-pack fish order assembly, etc.
Attention to detail is key, we aim to get things right first time. You must be able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
The role is a quite physical, requiring you to lift and move boxes and you will be working within a cold environment.
You will need to be reliable and punctual, have a good work ethic & be interested in pursuing opportunities within the business. You must be able to show initiative, be willing to learn and adapt.
The ideal applicant will have experience within a similar role but not essential as full training will be given.
