Connect to Work
Connect to Work is a new programme in Oxfordshire, run by Enterprise Oxfordshire with support from the County Council and funding from the Department for Work and Pensions. Its goal is to help local people with disabilities, mental health conditions and complex barriers to enter and sustain employment. This is the first step in a wider government plan to help more people get into good, lasting jobs.
Programme administrator role
We are currently looking for an Administrator who will be instrumental in supporting the effective delivery of the Connect to Work programme. The Oxfordshire Connect to Work structure includes two key pathways, IPS (Individual Placement and Support) makes up 70% of the programme and SEQF (Supported Employment Quality Framework) 30%. The administrative post will be sat within the Enterprise Oxfordshire team, who are currently delivering the IPS pathway, however support will be required for both pathways to ensure compliance and consistency across teams and the programme as a whole. The role provides administrative, coordination, and systems support to ensure smooth programme delivery including facilitating participant journeys, efficient stakeholder communication, and compliance with programme requirements.
Key responsibilities
· First point of contact for Connect to Work participants in Oxfordshire. Communicating in a professional and compassionate manner to identify the best suited pathway for the participant.
· Responding to participant and stakeholder queries in a timely manner to drive programme starts effectively.
· Managing all associated administration of incoming referrals, applicant queries, coordinating expressions of interest, and tracking referral volumes.
· Systems and data management to support programme MI and participant journeys to ensure quality and compliance
· Support stakeholder events through logistics, materials, literature and event tracking
· Build strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders and delivery partner, whilst being an ambassador of the Connect to Work Programme.
Person specification
Essential Experience
- Experience of engaging with members of the public to gather relevant information, assess their needs, and determine suitability for different pathways within a programme or service.
- Strong administrative experience with proficiency in MS Outlook
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Experience managing mailboxes and workflows
- High attention to detail
- CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong communication skills
Desirable Experience
· Experience in employment or public sector programmes
· Understanding of Connect to Work, IPS & SEQF pathways
· Knowledge of PRaP, MAPPA, and/or other government referral systems
· Understanding of public procurement processes with experience of audit procedures

· Proactive, with the ability to work independently, prioritising a busy workload and managing relationships with many stakeholders, adapting to conflicting priorities and deadlines as needed.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of challenges faced by others and the flexibly to adapt approach accordingly

· Dynamic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, ready to embrace change and meet new challenges with a solution-focused approach.
Additional requirements
- The successful applicant will be required to travel to venues across Oxfordshire on a regular basis. A valid driving licence and own transport, or alternative suitable methods of travel, is required.
- Occasional work outside of standard hours, including evenings, may be required from time to time to attend meetings and events.

Full-time hours: 30 hours per week (Enterprise Oxfordshire have a 4 day working week).
