The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in leading and supporting our care team while ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting the care team during your shift
- Organising the day-to-day delivery of care
- Leading by example and promoting best practice
- Providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents
- Working closely with colleagues, residents and their families to ensure excellent care is delivered at all times
Hours
This is a full-time position working on a rota basis, covering the following shifts:
- 8:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 9:00pm
- 8:00am – 9:00pm
About You
We're looking for someone who is caring, dependable and enjoys leading a team.
You will ideally have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience caring for older people
- At least 2 years' supervisory experience within a care setting
- NVQ Level 3 / Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or above)
- An enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A positive, professional and compassionate approach to care
