Centurion Risk Management is expanding.
We are actively recruiting experienced Door Supervisors for pubs and late-night venues across Glasgow/Paisley and the surrounding areas.
This is not an entry-level position.
We are looking for operators with a minimum of 3 years’ frontline experience working in pubs, bars and clubs — individuals who understand customer flow, conflict management, licensing law, and the balance between authority and professionalism.
Duties
- Managing safe entry and egress of patrons
- Monitoring venue capacity and queue management
- Conducting ID checks in line with Challenge 25 policy
- Refusing entry where appropriate, maintaining professionalism
- De-escalating conflict situations before they develop
- Physical intervention only when lawful, necessary and proportionate
- Conducting internal patrols and welfare checks
- Liaising with venue management and Police Scotland when required
- Recording incidents accurately within venue occurrence logs
- Upholding venue licensing conditions at all times
Skills/Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence
- 3+ years proven pub/club experience
- Strong communication skills and confident presence
- Excellent conflict management ability
- Understanding of Scottish licensing conditions
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Available for weekend and peak-hour shifts

Pay: £15.00-£16.50 per hour
