Overview
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative / delivery driver and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, managing stock, weekly delivery to another depot and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes.

Duties
- Safely load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and forklift equipment
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring quality standards are met
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and process shipments
- You will be responsible for a weekly delivery to our Inverness depot from dundee so driving licence is essential and experience in driving a transit type or LWB van is advantageous.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to identify damages or discrepancies
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying shipment contents against documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to health and safety protocols and mechanical maintenance routines
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or similar materials handling roles essential; although training will be provided
- Familiarity with forklift operation and valid forklift certification is required
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment maintenance is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail for quality control tasks and stock accuracy
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency
