The Role
As Front of House Supervisor, you'll support the management team in the day-to-day running of the restaurant and events. You'll lead by example on the floor, ensuring service runs smoothly, guests leave delighted and the team performs at its best.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coach, support and inspire the team while maintaining the highest operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Front of House service during shifts.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and handle guest feedback professionally.
- Support the training, development and coaching of the Front of House team.
- Ensure service standards are consistently maintained across restaurant, bar and private events.
- Work closely with the kitchen, reservations and management teams to ensure seamless service.
- Conduct pre-service briefings and communicate daily priorities.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor cleanliness, presentation and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Support stock control, ordering and daily operational checks.
- Resolve service issues quickly and confidently.
- Help create a positive, energetic and supportive team culture.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Supervisor or Senior Front of House team member in a busy hospitality environment.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Leads confidently and motivates others through example.
- Remains calm and organised under pressure.
- Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Takes pride in attention to detail.
- Is flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Has a genuine passion for food, drinks and hospitality.
Desirable
- Experience working in premium restaurants, bars or event venues.
- Cocktail, wine or spirits knowledge.
- Experience using reservation systems such as SevenRooms or OpenTable.
- Personal Licence (preferred but not essential).
- First Aid or Food Safety qualifications are advantageous.
Pay: £13.71 per hour
