Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Multi-Skilled Void Operative to join our maintenance and property management team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out essential repairs, maintenance tasks, and refurbishment works across vacant properties. Your expertise will help ensure properties are kept in excellent condition, ready for occupancy or sale. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive maintenance and repair work on vacant properties, including, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical components.
- Inspect properties thoroughly to identify issues using mechanical knowledge and experience.
- Carry out safety checks and ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate with team members or contractors during complex projects or repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with stakeholders regarding work progress or issues.
- Lead small teams or oversee subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining high standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment faults efficiently.
- Experience in maintenance roles within property management or construction environments.
- Supervising experience demonstrating leadership skills in managing teams or contractors.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and customer interaction.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
