Sports Massage Therapist - C Lewis Physiotherapy, Ottery St Mary
C Lewis Physiotherapy is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Sports Massage Therapist to join our growing team at our established, brand new clinic in the heart of Ottery St Mary.
We are a dynamic, independent physiotherapy practice offering physiotherapy and sports massage from our recently opened clinic space on Mill Street. We are expanding our offering and looking for the right person to grow with us.
What we are looking for:
A qualified, experienced Sports Massage Therapist who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care, motivated to work within a professional physiotherapy setting, and keen to build a loyal client base in a welcoming and supportive environment.
You will be working alongside an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist with 13 years of clinical experience across elite sport, the NHS, and private practice - offering a fantastic opportunity for professional development and collaboration.
Hours:
Flexible to accommodate other commitments. A minimum of one evening per week.
Pay:
Competitive - commensurate with experience. A minimum of £20 per massage. If you are interested please email [email protected]

Duties
- Deliver customised sports massage treatments tailored to individual client needs, focusing on muscle recovery, injury prevention, and performance enhancement.
- Assess clients’ physical condition and discuss their specific requirements to determine appropriate therapy techniques.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, including client progress and treatment plans.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching routines, and injury prevention strategies.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to hygiene standards and health regulations.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in sports massage techniques and incorporate new methods into practice as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other health professionals or fitness trainers to optimise client outcomes when necessary.
