Joiner / Kitchen Fitter
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary / Rate: £34,000 - £50,000 per year
The Role
Highview Building Group is a well-established building maintenance and refurbishment contractor based in Wallsend, working across the north east of England.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Joiner/Kitchen Fitter to join our kitchen installation team on an established social housing contract.
You will interpret design plans and execute the full installation of domestic kitchens in social housing properties, from first-fix to final finish, working alongside other trade teams within occupied and vacant properties.
What you’ll be doing
· Installing complete domestic kitchens from start to finish.
· Accurately measuring, cutting, assembling and fitting kitchen units
· Installing base units, wall units, cupboards, worktops, pelmets and plinths
· Carrying out first and second fix joinery
· Hanging doors and fitting kitchen doors and units
· Accurately cutting and scribing worktops
· Cutting worktops for sinks hobs and appliances
· Carrying out associated joinery and making good works
· Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety requirements
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will have
· Proven experience as a Joiner/Kitchen fitter (minimum 3 years preferred)
· Valid CSCS Card (preferred) and relevant NVQ qualifications
· Valid clean driving licence
· Ability to read and accurately interpret drawings and production sheets
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Subcontract rates available depending on experience and skill level
Pay: £34,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
