Finca is a specialty coffee shop and roaster, with six cafes and two roasteries in the Dorset and Somerset areas. We have been operating for 12 years, and now have a vacancies for Baristas for our Dorchester & Yeovil.
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of coffee and food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and other drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly.
- Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Work efficiently under pressure during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- You will be expected to work independently once fully trained.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is expected.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and friendliness.
- Basic food preparation skills are advantageous.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
Pay: Up to £12.85 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
