We are looking for an experienced and professional HGV Driver / Lorry Loader Operator to join our transport team.
Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for driving HGV vehicles and operating lorry-mounted loader cranes to transport and deliver a wide range of loads throughout the UK. Our work is varied and can include the movement of containers, office units, machinery, yachts, roof trusses, sculptures, and other specialist loads.

The Role
As an HGV Driver / Lorry Loader Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating HGV vehicles and lorry loader cranes.
- Conducting daily vehicle walk-round inspections and reporting defects.
- Loading, unloading, securing, and transporting a variety of loads safely and efficiently..
- Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally at all times.
- Assisting with yard duties during quieter operational periods.
What We're Looking For Essential Requirements
- Full UK HGV Licence with Category C or C+E entitlement.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Current ALLMI or CPCS Lorry Loader Operator certification. preferred but not essential.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- No more than six penalty points on your driving licence.

Working Hours
The role is predominantly day shift; however, applicants should be prepared for:
- Occasional night work.
- Overnight stays at short notice when required.
- Availability to work weekends as required.
