Flex Coach — Hall Personal Training
Pay: £26,000.00 per year
Location: Working across our Kidlington and Deddington studios
About Us
At Hall Personal Training, we're a little different to your usual personal training setup. Everything we do is delivered in small groups (max 6:1). That means great coaching, but also real community.
We help busy people in Oxfordshire build strength, confidence, and long-term fitness in a supportive environment. A lot of our members know they need to exercise but don't know where to start, or they were once fit and want to get back there but aren't sure how. We're not about quick fixes or gimmicks. We're about doing this properly, for the long term.
What sets us apart?
Coaching focused: The guidance & structure needed to support our members
A place you feel you belong: Encouraging & caring environment for those who’ve struggled on their own
Prioritising health, building confidence: Putting health at the forefront of everything we do, no matter your goal
Community matters to us. Training here isn't about being thrashed into the ground. It's about great coaching, shared effort, encouragement, and making sessions something people actually look forward to.
As a coaching team, one of our core values is progression. We exist to raise the standard of coaching in the industry, and that applies just as much to our coaches as it does to our members.
The Role
We're looking for a dedicated, driven Flex Coach to join our team, working across both our Kidlington and Deddington studios.
This role is built for coaches who are tired of having their hours scattered all over the week and want more structure - without losing all flexibility. You'll have a 37-hour contract, with around 22 hours fixed to the same schedule every week, and the remaining 7-9 hours flexible across our two sites. You'll receive your rota 4-6 weeks in advance, so you'll always know well ahead of time where and when you're working.
This role is for someone who wants more than "just a PT job". We're looking for a coach who wants to master their craft, keep improving, and work towards being one of the best coaches in the industry.
Who This Is For
- Coaches who want structure back in their week.
- Coaches who are serious about their craft and want to keep developing, not just clock in and out.
- Coaches who genuinely enjoy people - building relationships, understanding what makes someone tick, and helping them stick with training long-term.
- Coaches who want to get the best of their members
- Coaches who see personal training/coaching as their forever career
- Coaches happy to work across two studios as part of a predictable, advance-notice rota.
Who This Isn't For
- Coaches looking for an easy gig.
- Coaches who do not follow a progressive strength/conditioning style programme.
- Coaches who aren't interested in ongoing CPD, mentorship, or improving their own practice.
- Coaches who want to teach the odd class
What You'll Do
- Coach small-group personal training sessions (max 6:1) with clarity, energy, and attention to detail, across our Kidlington and Deddington studios.
- Create sessions that challenge people appropriately.
- Build community within sessions so members feel supported and motivated.
- Coach people who are new to training or returning after time away.
- Deliver clear, effective cues for safe, strong movement and progression.
- Provide simple, sustainable guidance around lifestyle, habits, and nutrition.
- Engage fully in ongoing learning and internal coach development.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in personal training
- Strong foundations in anatomy, exercise technique, and progressive training.
- Proficiency in coaching the squat, deadlift, bench press, and overhead press, including regressions and progressions.
- Proficiency in Strength & Conditioning
- Great communication skills and the ability to connect with everyday people.
- A growth mindset and high standards for your coaching.
- Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and building relationships.
- Comfortable working across two studio locations as part of a structured, advance-notice rota.
Prerequisites
- Level 3 Personal Training Qualification
- In-date Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification
- Own transport to be able to achieve timely travel between Kidlington & Deddington locations
Why Join Us
- A close-knit, supportive coaching team that values quality over ego.
- Clear progression and long-term career development.
- Regular CPD and hands-on coaching mentorship built into your week.
- Members who value coaching, consistency, and community.
- A stable, employed role with competitive pay and a predictable rota set 4-6 weeks ahead.
This role isn't for coaches looking for an easy gig or just to push people hard for the sake of it. It's for those who genuinely care about people, value community, and are committed to mastering their coaching craft.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
