CJ Recruitment are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business in Redditch for an experienced Line Leader.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse or production leadership experience who enjoys motivating a team, driving performance and ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of your production line while working for a business that values teamwork, quality and continuous improvement.
Successful candidates will initially join through CJ Recruitment with the opportunity to secure a permanent position and gain access to the company's full employee benefits package.
Shift Options
Option 1
- Monday to Thursday
- 7:00am – 6:00pm
Option 2
- Sunday to Thursday
- 7:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate
The Role
As a Line Leader, you'll be responsible for coordinating production lines, supporting your team and ensuring customer orders are completed safely, accurately and on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating and supporting a team of warehouse operatives
- Allocating daily workloads to achieve production targets
- Ensuring production lines operate efficiently with minimal downtime
- Managing stock flow to and from production lines
- Ensuring packing materials and labels are readily available
- Monitoring Health & Safety standards and PPE compliance
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping and "clean as you go" standards
- Reporting operational issues, incidents and near misses
- Working closely with Supervisors and Management to achieve daily production plans
- Supporting food safety, quality and customer compliance standards
- Helping maintain an audit-ready warehouse at all times
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys leading by example.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Line Leader, Team Leader or Supervisor within a warehouse or production environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- The ability to motivate and organise a team
- A positive, hands-on approach to problem solving
- Good numeracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A flexible and reliable attitude
The following would be advantageous, but are not essential:
- HACCP Awareness
- Health & Safety qualification
- Experience using labelling or date coding equipment
- Good IT skills
