We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team; on a full or part time basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in a care home setting. Ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being is maintained at all times. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities and implementing care plans tailored to each individual's needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, showering, washing dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided throughout the day, using digital care systems.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Foster a supportive and friendly environment that promotes independence and dignity.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home setting is desirable.
- A strong command of English is required for effective communication with residents and team members.
- Familiarity with following care plans.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of those in your care is essential.
