Job Overview
A care home located in Bexhill On Sea - East Sussex, providing accommodation for elderly service users, primarily focusing on elderly care and those living with dementia. Our mission is to offer compassionate support and a nurturing environment for our residents.
Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with mobility and daily activities in accordance with care plans
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in residents’ conditions
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care
- Support residents’ emotional wellbeing through companionship and engagement in activities
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all
- Use IT systems to update care records and document relevant information accurately
- Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments when necessary
- To make and change beds and all domestic tasks as required.
- To assist with residents’ laundry.
- To prepare and serve simple meals such as light lunch, supper etc.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
Pay: £13.25 per hour
