Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Garden Centre Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for gardening and horticulture. This role involves ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall presentation of the garden centre. The successful applicant will play a key role in creating an inviting environment that promotes our wide range of gardening products and plants.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with expert advice on gardening, horticulture, and plant care, fostering positive relationships.
- Merchandising garden centre stock and creating seasonal displays to enhance sales opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of current gardening trends, horticultural practices, and product knowledge to support team development.
- Working on the shop assisting customers with furniture, Bar-B-Q.
- Warehouse stock control, Folklift work.
Requirements
- Experience in gardening or horticulture is an advantage but not a must.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create attractive displays that boost sales.
Pay: £12.80-£13.00 per hour
