We are an Italian, family run business, which manufactures specialist Italian cheese, meats, and fresh pasta. We are leading importers and distributors of Italian foods, wines, and provisions. We are a well-established business, which delivers our products nationwide who are known throughout the wholesale, catering and restaurateur trade.
The Role
We are now looking for a Field Sales Representative to cover the South East of England. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a customer-focused environment and has a passion for food and sales.
You could use your own vehicle, or you could be allocated a company vehicle as part of the package.
Location: South East England: South London, Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, (Areas to be discussed)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Average & Flexibility required)
Pay Range: Starting at £40k + (depending on experience) Plus commission.(TB discussed)
Reports to: Executive Manager
Key responsibility:
· Generating new Sales
· Building and maintaining customer relationships
· Visiting customers regularly, cold calling
· Creating business opportunities
· Keeping up to date with new business openings in your area
· Keeping up to date on food trends
· Collaborate with other departments to track and resolve delays or out-of-stock items
· Customer relations
· Work with customers and credit control to ensure payment terms
· Attending food supplier days and trade fairs
Who you are:
· A confident individual with a calm and friendly demeanour
· Italian language skills are required.
· Comfortable and proficient with IT systems
· Strong attention to detail
· An effective communicator who enjoys engaging with others
· A genuine interest in, or willingness to learn about, Italian food
· Willingness to be on the road and travel, and attend suppliers' days in the London head office
Qualifications and Experience:
· Previous experience in a sales role is required.
