Minerva Clinical Services is an independent pharmacy located in a modern building at the heart of the growing community of Upper Heyford in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. It is linked to Alchester Medical Group in nearby Bicester and enjoys a close working relationship with primary care. Regular GP appointments are offered in purpose built consulting rooms within the pharmacy, which also provide space for pharmacy consultations.
We are looking for a Superintendent Pharmacist to lead and inspire a small team; someone who is passionate about patient care, community health services, and who will embrace the opportunity to expand the business within this growing patient population. The role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities and would be ideal for an ambitious candidate seeking long term career stability.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the Responsible Pharmacist ensuring safe and compliant pharmacy operations..
- Lead, motivate and support staff to achieve operational and service goals.
- Maintain the integral role of the pharmacy within the community by delivering an excellent standard of patient care.
- Support the delivery of NHS and private pharmacy services.
- Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management processes.
- Work collaboratively with the primary care team.
- Drive commercial growth through operational awareness and strong leadership.

- Experience working within a community pharmacy with a strong understanding of dispensing and additional services.

Qualifications:
Essential
- Masters Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent
- Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Desirable
- Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification
- Leadership/management qualification

Working pattern:
- Full time, Monday – Friday. Please note the Pharmacy is open 09:00 – 13:00 & 14:00 – 18:00.
Pay: £45,000.00-£65,400.34 per year
