Role description
We are seeking an experienced Digital Solution Architect to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting a key digital commerce transformation programme. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise across Salesforce digital commerce platforms and play a critical role in designing scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
- Design and deliver end-to-end digital commerce solutions using Salesforce technologies.
- Provide architecture expertise across Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Salesforce Order Management System (SF OMS), and Salesforce Progressive Web Application (SF PWA).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define scalable and efficient digital commerce solutions.
- Translate business requirements into high-level and detailed solution architecture designs.
- Lead architecture discussions, technical workshops, and solution design reviews across cross-functional teams.
- Ensure seamless integration of SFCC, SF OMS, and SF PWA with enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
- Define and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and design principles for digital commerce implementations.
- Provide technical guidance, design oversight, and governance to development teams.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and performance considerations, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with programme and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement of solutions.
- Strong experience as a Solution Architect in digital commerce environments.
- Hands-on expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Salesforce Order Management System (SF OMS), and SF PWA.
- Proven experience in designing enterprise-scale, integrated commerce solutions.
- Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
