Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our nationwide food-to-go products division. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and expanding our market presence across diverse regions. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to increase sales of food-to-go products across the country.
- Identify potential clients, partners, and markets through research, networking, and industry events.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and corporate clients.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting unique selling points.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that support business growth objectives.
- Utilise CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyse sales data for strategic planning.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements ensuring mutual benefit while aligning with company policies.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities or threats.
- Provide regular reports on sales pipeline progress, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Experience
- Proven track record in business development or sales within the food industry or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of sales processes from prospecting through closing deals.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a team environment.

Pay: £24,724.44-£45,000.00 per year
