IMH Recruitment are currently looking for a reliable Procurement Administration Assistant to work with our client based in Leeds, LS10.
You will be working within Adult Health and Social Care, supporting Assisted Living Leeds with the administration and coordination of equipment that helps people live independently.
Please note: The service is due to move location from September 2026 to LS10 1RW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing referrals, cancellations and customer requests.
- Updating customer and installation information accurately on computer systems.
- Arranging equipment deliveries, collections, servicing and repairs.
- Scheduling appointments and organising delivery routes.
- Liaising with customers, families, suppliers and internal teams.
- Raising and processing purchase orders and invoices.
- Supporting finance and budget administration.
- Maintaining accurate records and databases.
- Ordering equipment and ensuring it is available when required.
- Providing excellent customer service by telephone and email.
- Handling confidential information appropriately.
- Managing competing priorities and working to deadlines.
- Working closely with colleagues and external organisations.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous administration and customer service experience.
- Has experience with order processing and/or finance administration.
- Is organised, accurate and methodical.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office, databases, email and computer systems.
- Can prioritise their workload and manage multiple tasks.
- Can work independently and use their own initiative.
- Has good numerical and literacy skills.
- Understands the importance of confidentiality.
- Can build positive working relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
Desirable Experience:
- SAP knowledge – ideally 1 year.
- Finance administration – ideally 2 years.
- Experience working with local authorities or public sector organisations.
- Experience using finance or ordering systems.
Requirements:
- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent experience.
- Driving Licence – preferred.
- Basic DBS – preferred.
Hours & Pay:
This is a full-time temporary position with no weekend working.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday:
The role operates on a 3-week shift pattern:
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
- 9:00am – 5:00pm
- 10:00am – 6:00pm
- £13.45 per hour
- Weekly pay via agency!
