We are looking for a practical and motivated Landscape Operative to join our Installation Team. Working alongside an experienced Site Supervisor, you will help deliver a range of green infrastructure projects across London and the surrounding areas, including Living Walls, Green Roofs, Planters, Irrigation systems and soft landscaping installations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in high-quality workmanship and wants to develop specialist skills within a growing and innovative sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of living walls, green roofs, planting schemes and other urban greening projects.
- Assist with the installation and testing of irrigation systems.
- Support the Site Supervisor in delivering projects safely, efficiently and to best-in-class standards.
- Load, unload and transport materials, tools and equipment on site.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Work at height using appropriate access equipment where required.
- Follow site-specific health and safety procedures at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Scotscape professionally on site.
About You
- Experience within landscaping, construction, horticulture, irrigation, grounds maintenance or a related field is desireable.
- Practical and hands-on with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
- Comfortable working at height (PASMA & IPAF preferred).
- Able to work effectively as part of a small team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual and proactive in your approach to work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full, clean UK driving licence preferred.
- CSCS card desirable.
