Our client is a product sourcing company and supplier to retail who due to continued growth now have an excellent opportunity for a Trade Marketing Executive to join their growing marketing team in Wigan.
Job Purpose:
You will support a portfolio of well-known global consumer brands, working closely with internal and external Trade Marketing stakeholders, the Sales team, Brand Managers and the Creative team to deliver trade marketing activity across a broad portfolio of UK retail partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a primary point of contact within the company and for external partners on trade marketing initiatives across several well-known global consumer brands.
- Plan, execute and report on trade marketing activities for a variety of UK retailers, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the business and its brands professionally in retailer meetings and other relevant forums, building positive relationships with retailers and industry stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have:
- Educated to Degree level (essential) ideally in Marketing or similar
- Must have experience within Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Brand Marketing or Account Management, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with own transport and is confident in travelling independently to various locations
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with UK retailers or consumer brands would be advantageous
