The Assistant Principal - SENDCo supports the effective operation of the trust and works to uphold and promote its vision and values.
The post holder will serve as the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) for the College, playing a pivotal leadership role in ensuring inclusive education by overseeing the provision for students with. They lead on strategic planning, compliance with statutory requirements, and the development of high-quality support systems that enable all learners to thrive. Working closely with staff, families, and external agencies, they champion the needs of SEND students, fostering a culture of equity, achievement, and well-being across the school.
Ideally we are seeking a successful post-holder to commence in post in January 2026, however we would be open to discussions for a later start date for the right candidate. We would also welcome discussions around part-time (flexible working) for this post.
