Our client is recruiting for a Network Engineer Apprentice to join their team in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The Position

Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm
Hybrid and travel to customers is expected
Salary:
£18,000 - £20,000
Responsibilities in time.
· Support the activities of the company’s communications and their customers
· Understand the provisioning journey from sales to live service.
· Monitor logging of network events and ensure actions are taken by senior team
· Review incidents to assess their urgency and escalate if necessary
· Learn to be able to Monitor, manage and configure networking tools
· Work with senior members to understand how to Identify an incident’s root cause and develop a plan to prevent similar incidents
· Provide guidance to customers as required.
· Ensure the team respond to support tickets in a timely manner, to drive customer satisfaction.
· Be an ambassador for our Company’s Communications
· Act as part of the team and work collaboratively in the pursuit of service excellence
· Take low level certifications to get more familiar with technology.
Requirements
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· A thirst for problem solving and able to be inquisitive
· Ability to use the MS suite of tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
· Understanding of network topologies would be an advantage
· Ability to react to high pressure dynamic changing environments
· Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
· Full UK driving license with access to own car
· Although not essential, any experience with Fortinet or Juniper products would be an advantage
· Willingness to travel, including overseas on occasion.

Pay: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
