This opportunity could suit either an experienced Sous Chef looking for their next challenge or a Senior Chef de Partie ready to take the next step in their career.
Working as part of a talented kitchen team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality food experiences across the hotel. You'll take ownership of your section, ensuring dishes are prepared, cooked and presented to the highest standards while maintaining consistency during both busy services and quieter periods.
You'll support the development of junior chefs within the brigade, sharing knowledge, providing guidance and helping to create a positive team culture. Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen leadership team, you'll contribute ideas for menus and new dishes whilst ensuring food safety, cleanliness and compliance standards are maintained at all times.
You'll also understand the importance of managing waste, controlling portions and operating efficiently to support the commercial success of the kitchen.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about food and takes pride in delivering quality in every dish. You'll have strong cooking skills, a good understanding of ingredients and techniques, and the confidence to perform in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
You'll be organised, reliable and able to remain calm under pressure whilst supporting and motivating those around you. Whether you're leading a section, coaching junior team members or working alongside colleagues during a busy service, you'll bring a positive and collaborative approach to everything you do.
Experience of maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards is essential, as is an appreciation of the commercial side of kitchen operations, including waste management and profitability.
Above all, you'll share our passion for creating exceptional guest experiences and delivering the standards our guests expect every time they visit.
Alongside a competitive salary, you'll have access to a wide range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing, development and lifestyle. These include industry-leading training and leadership development opportunities, hotel discounts across our portfolio, and savings of up to 50% on food, drink and spa facilities.
You'll also have access to Wagestream, giving you the flexibility to access earned pay before payday and helping you build healthier financial habits. Additional benefits include our Employee Assistance Programme, career and lifestyle breaks, flexible working opportunities, meals on duty, free parking, access to hotel gym facilities and live-in accommodation where available.
Most importantly, you'll be joining a business committed to helping you grow your career in hospitality.
