Overview
At Lancashire Smiles, we are looking for a friendly, organised and professional Front of House Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming, family-friendly practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience and ensuring the smooth running of the front desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide a welcoming first impression
- Manage the front desk, including answering calls and scheduling appointments
- Assist patients with registration and update personal information accurately
- Maintain patient records
- Handle administrative duties such as scanning and managing correspondence
- Keep the reception and waiting area tidy, organised and inviting
- Support the dental team with general office tasks
- Respond to patient enquiries professionally and courteously
Requirements
- Previous reception, customer service or administrative experience (dental/healthcare experience beneficial but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Dental Software (beneficial, but not essential) and Customer Relationship Management (beneficial, but not essential)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable being involved in practice marketing, including team photos, social media content and promotional campaigns.
