Job Opportunity: Clearance Technician / Porter
We’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Clearance Technician / Porter to join our team. If you take pride in keeping spaces clean, organised, and safe and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out property clearances, removals, and relocations with care and efficiency
- Safely handle and transport furniture, equipment, and waste materials
- Maintain cleanliness and order in designated areas
- Assist with loading/unloading vehicles and preparing items for disposal or storage
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site
Skills
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a polite, respectful attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to technical environments is desirable
- Previous experience in clearance, removals, or porter work (preferred but not essential)
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive work ethic
