My client, based in the London area, are seeking to hire a Residential Property Solicitor to join a busy and well-established residential property team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters. This is a client-facing role offering exposure to a broad range of transactions within a supportive firm that values professional development, collaborative working and high standards of service.
Salary £100,000+
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and assist with all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions
- Conduct title checks, property searches, and due diligence.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate case records, documentation, and compliance with all legal and regulatory
requirements.
- Provide administrative and legal support to partners and fee earners across the property
department.
- Assist in post-completion matters, including registration and stamp duty submissions.
Key skills and experience required:
Qualified solicitor, minimum 5 years PQE proven experience in residential conveyancing, running a varied caseload independently.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and advise on title and search issues and take appropriate steps to mitigate risk.
Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and build professional relationships with third parties.
Proactive, commercially aware and client-focused, with a willingness to contribute to process improvement and business development.
