The Role
We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and passionate part-time bicycle mechanic to join our team strictly for Mondays. This is a fantastic opportunity for a freelance mechanic, a student, or someone with a flexible schedule looking to pick up a consistent weekly shift at a well-equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and safety checks on a wide range of bicycles (road, commuter, e-bikes, etc.).
- Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently.
- Assemble new bikes and carry out custom builds or upgrades as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair estimates and timelines.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience working as a bicycle mechanic (professional shop experience or advanced home-mechanic background).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of modern bike components, drivetrain tuning, hydraulic disc brakes, and basic e-bike systems.
- Attitude: A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for cycling and customer service.
- Reliability: Ability to commit to a consistent Monday schedule.
