Client Relationship Manager - Apprenticeships
Location: Didcot – office based
Salary: £40,000–£44,000 + benefits
Travel: UK-wide travel required
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded, relationship-focused professional to join an established organisation at an exciting stage of growth. You’ll report directly to the Managing Director and have real autonomy to shape the business development strategy, build new partnerships and increase the businesses presence across the education sector.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the market, meeting people and turning relationships into long-term commercial opportunities. You’ll represent the business at events, conferences and meetings across the UK, working with employers, training providers and industry stakeholders.
Key responsibilities for the Client Relationship Manager:
- Drive business development and growth, helping shape and deliver a clear commercial strategy for the business.
- Build and develop relationships with key sector stakeholders.
- Identify and secure new opportunities, managing the sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and onboarding.
- Represent the business externally, attending UK-wide events, conferences and networking opportunities to raise the organisation’s profile and generate new business.
- Manage the commercial pipeline, providing market insight, forecasting and performance reporting while working closely with delivery, quality and marketing teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.
What you’ll bring as the Client Relationship Manager:
- Proven experience in sales, business development or commercial growth, ideally at manager level.
- Experience in education, particularly the apprenticeships process is essential for this role.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication and commercial skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders, present to customers and negotiate new partnerships.
A full driving licence and reliable vehicle are essential, as the role involves regular UK-wide travel.
