Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Front of House team member with experience in a drink/ food led business to join our team. Must be 18+.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced food environment, with experience in serving and waiting on tables within a restaurant setting as well as knowledge & experience in serving drinks on a bar and cellar management.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. (10-15 hours per week with potential for more during peak season and holiday cover)
As a member of our Front of House Team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and diners.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant/ bar serving food and waiting on customers is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately.
- A solid understanding of food safety practices is advantageous.
- A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic is essential.
- Bartending experience is essential as you will be required to serve drinks on the bar.
- Knowledge of Cellar Management (changing of Cask & Keg) is required.
Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, serving food and running the front of house effectively and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, real ale, wines, and soft drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and restaurant area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Opening and closing of the bar and restaurant to a high standard following sign off checklists.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to create a harmonious working environment.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety practices at all times.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
