Multi Skilled operative
An excellent opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join a fast-growing maintenance firm.
The person that we are seeking should have skills and experience in general property maintenance, joinery, plumbing, painting and decorating. They should have high standards, be willing, reliable, hardworking and should take pride in the quality of their work.
A van will be provided for the successful candidate therefore a full driving license. This position is typically a Monday to Friday role
The specific role is too maintain a routine rota of care homes. Across the southern / west of the county. Each month will contain allotted days for each care home to complete general maintenance. We would expect the technician to drive long distance and manage their work independently. Travel is incorporated and paid for each day. A typical day in the care home would consist of 6 hours minimum in the care home allowing 3 hours paid travel between jobs/home. Completing the maintenance lists provided on site by managers. VOID's and reactive maintenance will also be a part of the works required for the care homes you are allocated too.
Required works
- General maintenance in commercial properties
- Plumbing, joinery, paint / dec etc.
- Requires experience in maintenance with previous employers.
It would be advantageous if the successful applicant has basic electrical, plumbing repair, tiling or plastering skills.
Additionally the successful candidate will be required to update our job tracking app throughout the day therefore confidence with phone systems is essential. You will also be required to keep and collate all receipts in an organised manner to hand to the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis. We are looking for a reliable, organised and willing person with a strong work ethic and key communication skills.
