Overall aim of the role

As an Assistant Manager within our Restaurant team, you will support the day-to-day management of the Restaurant, ensuring the team consistently deliver the highest standards of customer service and quality at all times.
You must have a flexible approach to hours of work, which will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We are recruiting a full-time position which will be an average of 45 hours per week with every other weekend off.
Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant or bar is essential.
What you’ll do:
Key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:
Opening and closing shifts, providing support to shift leaders
Completing shift handovers for the management team
Management of the team on each shift
Design and train the team on essential processes, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Customer Service
Assist with essential employee administrative tasks such as: providing feedback for probation reviews, bespoke training plans, sickness forms, creation of rota's when requested
Stock management - rotation and ordering
Ensuring the department adheres to and maintains all Health & Safety requirements
