AQ Solutions is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Process Manager to join our leadership team in Huntly. This is a key role for a process-driven professional who thrives on improving performance, optimising operations, and delivering measurable business results.
As Senior Process Manager, you'll take ownership of operational processes across the business, identifying opportunities for improvement, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring best practices are embedded throughout the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting business growth, operational performance, and long-term strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures
- Analyse business performance and identify opportunities to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Drive process improvement initiatives across multiple departments
- Develop and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and operational reporting
- Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic planning and business objectives
- Manage change initiatives and support the successful implementation of new systems and processes
- Coach and develop teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Identify risks, resolve operational challenges, and implement sustainable solutions
About You
We're looking for a proactive and analytical leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in a senior operations, process improvement, or business management role
- Strong understanding of process optimisation, operational performance, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience managing projects, teams, and cross-functional initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to analyse data and translate insights into practical business improvements
- A track record of delivering measurable operational results
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, utilities, environmental services, or a related operational environment would be advantageous.
