Freelance Marketing Designer
Duration - 3 Month Rolling Contract
Hours - 9am - 1pm - Flexible working hours
Pay - £1,500 Per Month
Location - Remote - UK
About the role
Netomnia is the UK's fourth-largest Full Fibre network, and our marketing team is expanding its creative capability. We're looking for a sharp, self-motivated freelance designer to become our go-to creative hands: someone who can turn a brief into a polished web page, a scroll-stopping social campaign, or a punchy 30–60 second video.
This is a compact, high-trust role, four focused hours a day, real ownership, and creative variety across web, social and video. It suits a designer who wants a steady, guaranteed retainer and the chance to build a varied portfolio, without the commitment of a full-time role.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and maintaining website pages; layouts, banners, landing pages, on-page visual updates and general UX improvement
- Creating assets for social and campaign activity, always aligned to brand guidelines
- Producing marketing collateral; one-pagers, brochures, presentation templates and sales support material
- Creating short-form video content (30 seconds – 1 minute) for social and YouTube, including captions, transitions and thumbnails
- Working from briefs issued in ClickUp, turning them around within agreed timelines
- Partnering closely with the Campaign & Content Manager on visual consistency, and with the development team on implementing web pages
What you'll bring
- A strong portfolio spanning web/digital design, social creative and short-form video editing
- Confidence working independently and managing your own time within a focused daily window
- Sharp eye for brand consistency and attention to detail under quick turnarounds
- Comfortable taking a brief and running with it; proactive, not just reactive
- B2B, tech, telecom or infrastructure sector experience is a bonus, not a requirement
Tools you'll use
- Adobe Creative Cloud; Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro / Premiere Rush
- Figma or Canva Pro; for web pages, social templates and rapid collateral design
- Clipchamp or Adobe Premiere for short-form video editing, captions and transitions
- CapCut or Canva Video; useful for fast-turnaround, social-native video edits
- ClickUp for receiving briefs and tracking work with the marketing team
- Basic familiarity with a CMS (e.g. Strapi, WordPress or similar) is a plus for web page updates
Why this role
- Genuine variety; web, social, print collateral and video, not just one lane
- Real autonomy. You own the creative execution once briefed
- A guaranteed monthly retainer with a focused, predictable schedule
- Room to grow the engagement as the team's needs evolve
- A front-row seat in a fast-moving infrastructure business scaling through a major industry consolidation moment
25 days holiday plus bank holidays- An extra day off for your birthday!
- Pension scheme that matches your contribution up to 8%
- Phone allowance
- Health care cash plan
- Cycle to work
- Employee assistance programme
- PPE and Uniform provided
- IT equipment provided
- Discounted Gym memberships
- Retail offers – discounts from recognisable brands
- Company Events
- Free YouFibre broadband if you are within our area, plus friends & family discount.
- Life assurance giving you cover of 4 times your basic salary
- Colleague referral scheme of £500
- Continuous development and long-term career prospects
