Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience in our café.
Shifts are Tuesday to Saturday inclusive, 9.30am to 4pm.
We are based inside Creations Interiors furniture store and have a very friendly team.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including workstations and equipment.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous, along with knowledge of food safety practices.
- Strong time management abilities to maintain efficiency during peak hours.
- Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively and provide help when needed.
- A passion for coffee culture and a willingness to learn about different brewing techniques.
