We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring Support Workers to join our Count Me In Service (One-to-One Support). This exciting opportunity is open for individuals available to work daytimes, evenings, and weekends.
What the Role Involves
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Provide personalized one-to-one support tailored to each member’s needs and aspirations.
- Work with members with mild to complex needs, including learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and mental health challenges.
- Empower members to:
- Build essential life skills (e.g., budgeting, shopping, attending appointments).
- Enjoy leisure activities (e.g., meals out, cinema trips, community events).
- Access education and pursue personal goals.
Please note: No personal care is involved in this role. No two days are the same. Your role will require creativity, flexibility, and a proactive approach to connecting members with local services and opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have at least 6 months of experience in care or support work.
- Can motivate, engage, and inspire others.
- (Bonus) Hold a valid driving license with business insurance (mileage reimbursed at 55p per mile).
Pay: £12.71 per hour
