Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Multi-Trade Production Assistant to support our workshop and production teams. The successful candidate will work alongside our highly skilled trades people assisting with a variety of tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist joiners, electricians, and plumbers with day-to-day production and installation tasks.
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for production activities.
- Move, handle, and store materials safely within the workshop and site areas.
- Support the assembly, fabrication, and preparation of products as directed.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, including sweeping, tidying, waste disposal, and organizing work areas.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are returned to designated storage locations after use.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times and help maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct basic inspections of tools and equipment and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Assist with stock control, deliveries, and inventory management when required.
- Support loading and unloading of vehicles and deliveries.
- Carry out general workshop and production duties as assigned by supervisors.

Desirable:
- Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, construction, or trade environment.
- Basic knowledge of joinery, electrical, or plumbing work.
- Forklift licence or other relevant certifications.
