We are working with a lovely primary school in Maida Vale (W9) who are seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their Additional Resource Provision (ARP) from September.
This role involves supporting pupils in EYFS and KS1 with complex needs, including pupils who are non‑verbal, within a structured and specialist setting.
Location: Maida Vale, W9
Start Date: September 2026
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant – ARP
Contract: Full‑time, long‑term
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30-3:30pm
Pay: £120-£130 (via umbrella)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with complex SEN needs within the ARP
- Work with non‑verbal children in EYFS and KS1
- Assist with communication, engagement, and daily routines
- Support delivery of structured, sensory-based learning
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN staff
- Promote inclusion, independence, and emotional regulation
About You:
- Experience working in an SEN school or ARP (essential)
- Strong experience supporting complex needs and non‑verbal pupils
- Understanding of communication strategies (PECS, Makaton, sensory approaches)
- Patient, calm, and consistent approach
- Confident working within a specialist environment
