Healthcare - QC Packaging Compliance Officer

THE ROLE:
Join us as our QC Packaging Compliance Officer within the QC department.
You will work as part of a high performing and established team and will play a key role to ensure the smooth introduction of new packaging componentry ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations. You will ensure the continued compliance of existing packaging componentry to all necessary standards and regulations. Experience of packaging compliance for food products is a key skill for this role.

Swadlincote, this role is site based, there may also be some requirement to travel.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Ensuring all tasks relating to packaging componentry compliance are undertaken and carried out in an efficient and positive manner.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain all required documentation.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure compliance with customer requirements for packaging componentry.
- Assist with the creation of documents for the approval of packaging componentry followed by formal control of issue.
- Support with periodic reviewing of existing packaging componentry and update documentation as required.
- Ensure continued compliance of packaging componentry with all applicable standards and regulations.
- Assist with maintaining the database of all packaging componentry questionnaires, specifications and other relevant documentation.
- Attend all required packaging componentry meetings
- Monitor packaging processes to identify deviations or non-conformities, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Creation, support and completion of any change management requests and actions.
- To provide cross functional support and flexibility.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
Be a self-disciplined self-starter with the ability to work autonomously. You will have excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and react to change quickly and positively, you will also ideally have:
- Proven experience in a QC department in a similar industry with healthcare and manufacturing experience.
- 2 years direct experience in quality.
- Familiarity with BRCGS standards.
- Experience of packaging compliance requirements for food products.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills.
- Experience in dealing with customers internal and external.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external networks.
