We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant’s ordering system
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
- Ensure all health and safety standards, including food safety regulations, are adhered to at all times
- Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Handle guest queries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow
- Support with basic food preparation tasks as required, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- Manage guest bills accurately using the point-of-sale system and process payments efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the industry
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is beneficial
- Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience can be an asset
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively
- Good communication skills with a friendly approach towards guests and team members
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for bill calculations and transactions
- Experience in guest services, upselling, and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure is highly valued
