We are a small-group tour operator seeking new Driver-Guides to join our small team. Our scheduled tours with up to 16 guests will include a selection of 1-day and 2-day tours from Edinburgh. We do not offer 1-day tours to Loch Ness due to distances involved.
As a Driver-Guide you will be the face of our company, leading the delivery of high-quality tours to our clients, telling stories and creating memorable experiences. We are passionate about getting off the beaten track and providing our guests - from the UK and around the world - with high-quality, local and authentic experiences.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver memorable small-group tours from Edinburgh
- Drive an executive 16-seat Mercedes minibus
- Provide personalised commentary and local information
- Day-to-day management of clients
- Completion of daily vehicle requirements including cleanliness
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:
- Edinburgh-area based
- Confident driver with clean licence and D1 entitlement
- Ability to engage enthusiastically with clients and recount knowledge, anecdotes & back stories
- Highly organised and flexible in a changing day-to-day operational environment
