Bowburn Hall Hotel are recruiting for an experienced Kitchen Porter to come and join our team.
Nestled in Bowburn, just 4 miles from the historic city of Durham, Bowburn Hall Hotel offers 20 beautifully individually designed rooms and 5 garden lodges, as well being an exclusive wedding venue.
Food plays a significant part at Bowburn Hall, with delicious home cooked meals, using our own home grown produce, our aim is to ensure that we delight every guest, every single time, so they come back time and time again.
As part of the kitchen team our Kitchen Porters play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen and front of house teams are supported during all service times, and to ensure that all guests receive the best level of customer service and high-quality dishes.
As the successful Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and restaurant to our exceptionally high standards, washing dishes, cleaning floors, along with providing assistance with desert and food preparation.
We are looking for someone who is happy to work in a fast paced environment, with previous experience of working as a Kitchen Porter, ideally within a luxury hotel. You will need excellent time management and organisational skills, be able to demonstrate high standards of cleanliness and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Part time or full time positions are available and the role will include evening and weekend working.
