Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients with precision, ensuring freshness and quality at all times
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to cook pizzas to perfection
- Follow established recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency in every dish served
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety standards
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, supporting overall kitchen operations
- Serve customers directly when required, providing friendly and efficient service that enhances their dining experience
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation or culinary roles within a restaurant or similar setting
- Familiarity with cooking techniques specific to pizza making and general kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen environment
- Previous experience serving customers is a plus, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
