Subcontractor / Self-Employed Role Only
FULL TIME – 5 days per week
We are a rapidly expanding company specialising in providing exceptional property maintenance services to both domestic and commercial clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and qualified Domestic and Commercial Gas Engineer with a minimum of 6 years’ experience to join our team.
This role would suit an experienced engineer with strong fault-finding ability and the confidence to carry out installations and larger remedial works across domestic and commercial environments. Experience working on commercial systems is highly desirable, and engineers holding both domestic and commercial qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
While a working knowledge of BMS systems would be advantageous, this is not essential.
As a self-employed contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and performance of gas installations across a varied portfolio of properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault finding on domestic and/or commercial gas systems
- Service, maintenance, and repair of gas central heating systems
- Installations and larger remedial works where required
- Working independently and as part of a wider team
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Domestic and/or Commercial Gas Engineer
- Valid Domestic Gas qualifications and /or Commercial Gas qualifications
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Experience with installations and remedial works
- General plumbing knowledge
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Proactive, reliable, and professional approach
- Excellent communication skills when liaising with clients and office staff
