Job description
We are looking to recruit new team members to join our leading manufacturing facility in Blackwood on a in various departments, starting as production operators. These roles will require working shifts.
8-hour shifts (rolling morning/afternoon/nights pattern) [15% shift allowance] as follows;
Week 1: Days, Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00
Week 2: Nights, Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 – 06:00
Week 3: Afternoons, Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:00
Salary: £25,334.28 plus 15% shift allowance (£3,800.14) = £29,134.42
The Role:
To maximise the machine output through good manufacturing practices and to work with other team members to meet targets and continuously improve manufacturing performance.
- to feed machines with blanks and/or pack finished products
- keep the machines supplied with materials
- to work with the team in order to achieve manufacturing targets
- identification and accurate reporting of manufacturing problems and initiate corrective actions
- maintain agreed standards of cleanliness of machine and work area
- other duties as reasonably requested
