Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing vehicle recycling company. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Advisor specialising in car parts to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have some previous knowledge/experience in the motor trade and be able to easily identify different vehicle parts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a passion for the automotive industry. This role offers an engaging environment where you will assist customers in finding the right parts, provide expert advice, and ensure a high standard of service. This role will suit a self-motivated and driven person who thrives in a fast paced environment. We are looking for some to support the existing team in a variety of different ways. This is a 50/50 role with outside and office work required. A familiarity with eBay would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
This job role is Monday - Friday 8.30am till 5pm

Responsibilities
- Preparing the parts for sale - cleaning, picturing and quality control
- Storing the parts correctly using our internal management system
- Locating and packing sold items, making sure the correct parts are picked & packed well so they reach the customer in good order
- Manage and update existing stock listings
- Answering messages via email and other online message services.
- Handle phone enquiries with excellent phone etiquette, offering prompt and courteous assistance - filtering them to the correct department as needed.
- Photographing the vehicles for our inventory when they arrive on site
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service within the automotive industry is advantageous, training will be provided
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly and effectively
- Organisational skills with attention to detail to manage stock levels and administrative tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in computer skills for managing inventories or sales records is needed
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanour are essential for engaging with customers over the phone
- Basic knowledge of vehicles and familiarity with automotive parts will be beneficial
