Chapel Hill Day Nursery is 99 place setting, registered to care for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years of age. We are located on the main A38 near Berkeley surrounded by open countryside. We offer a homely, friendly and relaxed environment with natural resources and open ended play.
We are currently seeking a Housekeeper/lunch time assistant to join our friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning nursery rooms, office, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard
- Delivering meals and snacks to room
- Covering staff lunch breaks /assisting with feeding babies and supporting rooms
- Setting up and packing away beds at nap time
- Sanitising toys, equipment, and surfaces regularly
- Managing laundry, including washing and folding bedding
- Ensuring cleaning supplies are stocked and stored safely
- Following health and safety and infection control procedures
- following cleaning schedule
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (experience in a nursery, school, or care setting desirable)
- Childcare experience
- Knowledge of health and safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good time management skills
- Reliable and punctual
- A hardworking and helpful disposition
Working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm with a 30 minute break.
